Scutari (Üsküdar in Turkish, pronounced ewskewdar) was the Greek name for the district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the Asian (Anatolian) side of the city. Florence Nightingale worked in the old Barrack Hospital at Scutari during the Crimean war and the name of this road probably pays tribute to the work of Florence Nightingale in Scutari.
