Crimea Street Lift Bridge

The lift bridge of the Crimea street (Rue de Crimée) is located at the intersection of the Bassin de la Villette and the Ourcq Canal, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It allows the Crimea street to cross the canal, and connects the right and left banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq. It was inaugurated on August 2, 1885. His engineer was Louis le Chatelier. It is made of steel and is the last lift bridge of Paris. The lift bridge of Crimea street has been renovated, and a little modernized, in 2011.
