The city of Alma is a private road located in the vicinity of the bridge of Alma, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.
This small street takes its name from the Battle of Alma which is considered the first battle of the Crimean War (1853-1856). The victory was obtained by French-English forces against Russian army, on September 20, 1854 on the banks of the Alma River in Crimea.
